late bloomers

Team Oakley loves gardening (I am sure that is known by now) but we have made some mistakes. We were chronically late in our planting, and are figuring out what works when.

We planted some sunflowers way to late in the season, and now that it is frosty and fall, we are seeing the late fruits of our labor, and we wanted to share them with you.

They did not last long, it got too cold, but the colors were brilliant, and we learned a good timing lesson in the whole process!
