Team Oakley has not been able to have too many adventures as of late. With the changing of seasons came allergies and many other bugs for Beka that has kept her indoors and in bed for....longer than she or Michael thinks is fun. So one night Michael made a date for them on the back porch so at least she could get outside.
He surprised her with this, dinner, and citronella candlelight :)
They played monopoly deal (a fav for team Oakley) and ate dinner, and watched the show....
Before we came to TN we thought fireflies (or lightning bugs out here) were just made up by Disney, but they are real, and this summer they are everywhere! They are one of Team Oakley's favorite things about living in the south. We hope you enjoy them as well (there is video of them taking over the back yard!), and you enjoy our adventure!
