The Adventures of Team Oakley: Valentine's day! 2012

Happy Valentine's day!

As members of Team Oakley, we have a lot of LOVE to celebrate this year!

Last year Beka and Michael stayed in on Valentine's day because of tiny Emery in Beka's belly making her extremely sick and tired. This year we got to celebrate with Mr. Emery here in person!!!!

Speaking of having Mr. Emery alive and well in our midst, he was extremely cute and happy when he woke up on said Valentine's day.

I know this is a Christmas outfit, but it is comfy and it still fits, so don't judge us.

Team Oakley woke up happy (as you can see from the photo above) and slowly. We had a fun, lazy, and snuggly morning, which was a great Valentine's day gift itself! We are always so busy that some down time is always appreciated! Beka did not mind the snuggles...I mean who could with this guy?

We got ready slowly that day, and made some time to be silly with Emery. He doesn't need our help in that area. While putting his shirt on he thought that wearing it on his head was HILARIOUS!

He loves to get dressed and look fly. He sported his cool green hat from Grandma, and we dressed him warm for the chilly day outside. How cool is this kids already, right?

Once we were all ready and out the door, Michael snapped a picture of Beka. This is significant only because today, almost 5 months after Emery was born, Beka got on the scale and all her hard work post -baby had paid off! She was back to pre-baby weight! So we celebrated with a photo. Yay for not having that extra weight! She loves Emery, but that crap was awful! Hooray to having a body again!

Now that we were all ready, we headed to downtown Nashville to get some lunch at Cori's Dog house. It is an all-hot-dog-all-the-time restaurant that we love! They have dogs from every part of the states, and if you eat all of them then you get a photo on the wall of wieners! Beka is not going for this prestigious title, but Michael is! Here are our eatings this trip: Michael got a new yorker, and Beka got the Pittsburgh (with a vegan sausage dog), and some fried pickles! Emery had a milk dog with some fried milk and a milk for the drink.

If you live in Nashville, go to Cori's! You will love it! The onion rings are great too.

After Lunch we went to our friend's coffee shop where Emery partied so hard he passed out! Man that boy is wild. Here he is asleep on the couch of the coffee shop. There are people being loud, music playing, and lots going on, but Mr, Emery was tired so he put his hat over his eyes and off to dream land he went. Man I love this boy... so easy!
