There was a rare occasion that happened in the House of Team Oakley recently. Michael was out of town! It is usually Beka away, but this time Michael had a conference for cyt in Houston TX (check out the cool things he is doing with this fun theatre company! http://www.cytnashville.org )
So Beka was determined to make this weekend with Emery memorable and fun, with lots of relaxing. What better way is there to combine those elements than in a tent! Beka set it up quickly, with the help of Emery hiding the poles around the house, and they were ready for their indoor camping weekend!

We positioned the screen around the TV, for some special Elmo time later that day.
Emery LOVED it!
Once inside, with lots of pillows and covers, Emery could not keep from kissing and hugging Beka! He was so happy she was there with them, in that tent!
The weekend in the tent seem to fly by! Beka did not think of this prior to setting up the tent, but there was a BRILLIANT side to this fun. In the mornings Beka would make Emery's milk and breakfast, zip themselves up in the tent, and fall asleep for a few more hours! It was bliss!
Before we knew it Michael was coming home to join us. He was excited to have some family fun in the tent as well. Beka and Emery made sure not to take it down before he could camp too.
Emery cracked us up when he discovered the power cord slot in the tent. It was just the size of his little hand!
We left the tent up for a whole week! We just had so much fun with it!
We encourage all y'all to bust out your camping gear for some inside fun too!
