San Diego Vaca - day 3: The Wedding!

It is finally here! There has been much anticipation and excitement, but it was finally time for Robin and Zach to tie the knot!

We were all so excited to get going that all the girls met up at Beka's older sister, Ro and her boyfriend's house to get ready all together. Ro had graciously gotten up early, went grocery shopping, and had lunch prepared for those who were partaking in the beautifying. Beka was so excited to debut a new dress she had designed and made just for the wedding. We pulled out all the mirrors we could find, dumped all our makeup in a pile, and plugged in every straightener, blow drier, and curling iron we owned and got to work!

Beka trying to figure out her hair (which was trying to figure out the humidity changes)
Becca (Beka's good friend, and her bother's girlfriend) getting ready in the madness. She does not have any sisters, so it was quite the experience for her.

Beka's Mom, Carlone, and her little sister Rosy gettin' all gussied up!
Roxy, Beka's little sister, doing her thing
This was the lovely ladies make shift makeup and hair salon :D
This is Michael and Timmy "working hard" at getting ready! Oh boys :)
Becca and Roxy, looking good and having fun! They are all ready!
Here is Rosy, who we all unanimously decided was too young to look that pretty! She is the baby!

So we were all ready, and plied into cars to drive down to Beautiful Point Loma, on the Navy Base, to begin the wedding festivities. When we got there, we hung out with the groom, Beka's older brother, and the other groomsmen before the family photos were taken. There was a bit of nervous excitement in the air, but it was more fun and anticipation than anything!

The waiting in the hotel room: Beka, Poppa Steve, Mom Caroline, Rosy, Roxanne, and Becca.
Michael thought it was appropriate to do a little dance for Beka to break some of the tension...she like it, not sure about everyone else :)
The sisters are excited for the Groom!
The ever so handsome groomsmen! They make purple look good!
Mike and Micah, rockin the shades
The Groom and the Father of the groom, both excited and playing with ties.
And a Toast to Zach! We are ready to get this wedding going!
Now on our way out for the family Photos. Groom and Father, both such handsome men...

I am not sure if God could have set in motion a more beautiful or perfect day, or place, for these two to get married. I can't even explain it...just check these photos out.

You just can't beat that! We all went outside to greet this beautiful sight and take some family photos with the groom before the wedding.

The beautiful girls!

We LOVE our brother! we are so excited for him to get married to such a wonderful person as Robin!

We are all a bit emotional about it. But they are good tears!

These are all Beka's Father's siblings (missing 1), her Dad, and Grandma. Yes, that means her Dad is from a family of 10 kids!
And yes they are all goofy

This is Beka's Mom and poppa Steve, looking wonderful.

So after the photos, there was a bit of waiting before the ceremony began.

Michael and Beka were caught taking full advantage of the moment : D

And he sees her for the first time...Beka knows her older brother well enough to know this is the face he makes when he wants to be crying...But I would too..she was beautiful...

so breathtaking...

Robin and Zach joined sand in a jar to express their unity, exchanged rings, and wrote their own heartwarming vows.... it was everything you would expect from such and awesome couple...and now you may kiss the bride!
I am proud to announce the marriage of Zachary and Robin!
The newly married bride and groom walked back down the isle to Jason Mraz's "I'm yours", and we all celebrated with them through photos and lots and lots of hugs!
