Emery has an exciting night ahead of him! He is having a sleep over at Nana and Nunu's house! This is not the first time, but now that he is growing and realizing things, the experience of this kind of sleepover is so fun! Beka and Michael desperately needed to clean the garage, so instead of making Emery clean it with us, we packed his back pack, dressed him like a safari man, and sent him on an adventure!
Elmo phone? check. Safari hat? check. Sippy cup? check. back pack? check. He as all ready to go!
As he got out of the car, bun bun and dog in hands, he was so excited! He loves his Nana and Nunu very much. Getting to spend time with them is a real treat and a treasure. Team Oakley knows all about this, as both their grandparents were instrumental in their own lives. It is so sweet to see Emery walk in the same path of love and sweetness that they did.
After the drop off Michael and Beka spent LITERALLY all day cleaning out the garage. No fun. But you know who WAS having fun? This guy!
He went to the zoo!
Then played with stickers!
And he did some puzzles.
He went down a toy slide.
He blew bubbles...and so much more! Oh how much fun Emery did have!
And this was Beka's idea of fun after the horribly long day of cleaning. Fuzzy socks, tea, and TV.
And here was Michael's idea of a good night...snuggles with a kitty.
Overall each member of Team Oakley ended the day nicely. We hate being away from our Emery overnight, but knowing he has so much fun makes it better.
