Last year it seemed like all the leaves fell in one single day out here in Middle Tennessee. It was as if they all banded together, called a meeting, and decided it would be more effective to make a collective statement of falling together, rather than taking their time to do it on their own individually. Smart leaves. There is power in numbers.
Well this year was no different. One morning Team Oakley woke up to fall all over our front lawn. It was a great sight.
The massive fall let us see a nest that was in our tree, that had been previously covered up by the leaves! No birdies. I think it is a foreclosure.
I appreciate the collective decision of the autumn leaves to al fall at once, it makes for a splendid scene.
