Well, our time in America's finest city is over, and it is time to head back home. It is always bittersweet leaving. We are excited to get home and into our routine again, but it is sad to leave family. Especially because we do not have concrete plans to visit again. But leave we must.
And the leaving part made us a bit worried. We were all packed and got to the airport early, and we had all the tickets and info we needed, but an airplane ride with a baby always brings added stress. Though Emery had done three flights already like a champion, we thought our luck might have run out, and this would be the one that he melts down on......we were wrong, thankfully!
Emery was awesome! Just like he was on all the others!!!!!! WE HAVE THE BEST BABY!!!
He was happy in his car seat the whole time in line.
Then he hung out happy on the rocking chairs while we waited for our plane.
He was great on the flight, no tears at all. He ate, then slept, then he woke up and played and laughed with us. Beka was so glad to have michael around to help. The flight out was an adventure, but she did it, all on her own. Though she will choose having help any day :)
We had a layover in Texas and Emery was great there too! He played with Michael and they had a great time.
Then we were back on the plane towards Nashville! Emery flirted with all the flight attendants and made friends everywhere. He was super cute in the plane seat too :)
I know that I am bragging a lot on this child, but he is SO GOOD! Michael and Beka were constantly impressed with his even temperament and easy going attitude. We do not claim that it is our parenting, but we are thankful for it.
Way to be awesome buddy! Keep it up!
