Beka travels for work, and 99% of the time she goes alone. But some special times Michael and Emery get to go with her.
This is such a time!
Team Oakley all got to go to Knoxville, TN together!
Beka is there to cover some territory for a college, so we all packed in our new car, and made the trip!
While she was at work the first day, Emery and Michael had a nice swim in the hotel.
Emery is such a monkey, and as cute as could be! He was having such a good time!
Then after work the second day we went to Pigeon Forge TN to walk around a really cool shopping center. We had a great time together! Emery loved riding all the rides (we never put any change in them, he just loved sitting there!). Team Oakley has a great talent for making small or somewhat mundane experinces into REALLY fun days! We pride ourselves in that.
Michael was having fun on them too :) He has a great talent at being a kid. We take great pride in that, too!
Emery wanted Beka to sit too, but she declined. Such a party popper!
Then we needed a little rest and foot massage ( we did put change in them either, lol!). Emery was excited to keep going, if you can't tell!
He liked the puppy on this one...
I mean he LOVED him :D
He did not want to leave him! He kept saying goodbye to the puppy. It was so cute! Emery sure is a lover!
Out of order does not stop this kid!
It was so fun! We all had a sweet time, and our feet were sore by the end of the day. We headed back to the hotel to spend a good night all together. We are so thankful Emery can adapt like a pro, and sleep well in any hotel or strange room. We have the best kid!
The next day Michael and Emery got some lunch while Beka worked. Five guys is always one of our favorites!
Then they got to go to the Knoxville Zoo! Our Nashville Zoo pass lets us go to other zoos around the US. Knoxville is one of them. We have gone quite a few times, and we love it! Emery and Michael were VERY excited!
It was VERY hot, so Michael and Emery took some time to enjoy the misters! Emery thought they were pretty silly!
It was such a fun day, and after the zoo Michael and Emery picked up a tired Beka from work, and we all headed home.
It was a short trip to K-town, but it was VERY fun, and we got some wonderful memories out of it.
Make sure to take time to enjoy the mundane today. It is well worth it.
