Beka and Emery are going to San Diego soon for Beka's littlest sister's graduation. They will be gone for about two weeks, and while they are there Michael is going to a CYT conference in northern CA, so they will not be together for almost three weeks. So they decided to make their last day (for a while) together really count!
We all woke up early and walked to our local coffee shop together. Emery and Beka were especially happy to be in the sun shine.

We got our goodies, then hung out together outside. Beka and Michael chatted while Emery explored the bugs and grass and dirt. It was not long before Michael joined him on his adventure.
This day was not free and clear of responsibilities. Michael had a gig drumming for a store event for a few hours. And instead of all of us going our separate ways we decided to all go together! Beka and Emery walked around the shop, listened to the drums, and explored while Michael and his co-drummer Colin played. Beka and Emery were outside, so they were happy with anything!
After all the adventures were had and responsibilities taken care of, we all went home for movies, popcorn (Emery's new fave), and some well deserved snuggle time.
Those snuggles will have to last us for a few weeks. There are many adventures ahead, just separately, so stay tuned!
