What could be better than our great new year's eve we just celebrated?
Waking up (after sleeping form more than 10 hours!) to a homemade breakfast! Michael got up before Beka and made her some vegan love!
Then Michael and Beka picked up Emery from his Nana and Nunu's house. He was so happy to see them, and was in a great mood (as if there is another mood he has). Beka caught a photo of him on the way home signing to the radio.
We have some great plans for day. We are visiting our good friends, the Abdallah's in their new home. They have taken to home brewing beer, and we wanted to join them in the process, and check out their new diggs.
When we got there Emery instinctively made his way to the play room (he has never been here before!). In no time he found a book and was in the lap of a pretty lady. Smart boy.
Later when some other friends joined us, Emery got a play mate. He was in heaven playing with a girl about his size. The conversations that came from this room were priceless! "Emery I have a french fry for you. NO! Put it in the fridge!"
After we all had our fill of home brewery and childhood fun, Team Oakley made our way home for the night. We made a pit stop to target to get some things we needed. From this photo you can tell that Emery HATES target.
Emery found a toy that played music. Then came one of the cutest videos EVER!
Then we had some olive garden for dinner. It was fantastic!
What a way to start off the year! Time together, time with friends, time shopping, and time eating! It was wonderful!
We hope yours was great too!
