12/30/12 New Year's eve!

Happy new year's eve!

If you follow this blog, I am sure you know that Team Oakley loves to party! So tonight we are going crazy y'all!

Our best of TN friends are throwing a 'roaring twenties' party, and we are dressing to the nines to ring in 2013 and celebrate all we did in 2012!

Emery was sure dapper in his get up. He looked so stylin!

Beka has her major in fashion design and technology, and the first line that she designed and constructed was based on the 1920s. So she had PLENTY to choose from. She chose her a-line skirt, cape, and bow shirt, with some fab accessories.

Michael often channels this time periods in his day to day get ups, so he had many things to choose from as well. We all did not buy anything!

We went to dinner at our local grecian pizzeria and stuffed ourselves with a great last meal of 2012.

The hostess of this restaurant was kind enough to get a family shot for us.

The plan was to party as long as we could with Emery, then go home before midnight. But as it turns out Michael's parents were having some trouble with a VERY distressed beagle (in TN you can shoot of fireworks on new years, and Ms Sophie, the beagle, has great fear of the noise), so they stayed in for the night and took care of Emery. When we dropped him off at their house we got some more great family shots.

Emery was SO excited to stay the night with his Nana and Nunu. He barely noticed when Beka and Michael kissed and hugged him goodbye. He was in a very happy place! He stayed up until 10pm! Almost made it! Here is him ringing in the new year a few hours early.

Beka and Michael had a most wonderful time at their party. They were with the most fabulous people in the some pretty swell get ups! If you are on instagram check out #roaringtwenties13 to see all the great looks!

It was a great night! Beka and Michael started this next year off with a cheers and a smooch!

We hope that your night was as special and sweet as ours!

Cheers to the new year!

Love,

Team Oakley
