10/7/12 Michael's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Michael! Beka and Emery were really excited to celebrate the man of the hour. They made him a "fall jar" for his birthday. It holds lots of fun things to do together as a family. All we need is some spare time, and pull out an event!  Fall is by far Michael's favorite season, so what better gift than to celebrate it.

We could not do much in the morning of Michael's birthday. It was sunday, and sunday is a very busy day for us. Michael works at our church, so while he finished up details for that night, Beka and Emery kept busy with snuggles and stories.

Then we got a surpise! Michael's parents bought Emery his new car seat! He has been needing one for a while now (he is so darn long!). We were thrilled that they did this for us. Emery was also thrilled, not only to have a car seat he finally fits in, but to have an AWESOME BOX to play in!

As you can tell, Emery likes his new seat. He likes his Daddy as well :)

What a better way for Michael to spend his birthday than...installing a car seat? The duties of this daddy are never ending! But Emery and Beka are so thankful Michael does it with a sweet spirit.

While Michael wrestled the car seat, Beka and emery took advantage of the mild weather.

Emery was very appreciative to his daddy for installing his car seat. He loves it!

Emery is riding in style now! He has a cubby and a cup holder!

Before church we had to make a stop at Target. It is one of our most favorite things to do, walk around Target. I know that sounds silly. But the weather is controlled, and emery loves to see everything.

Emery got a dollar form his great Grandma Ninteman, so we let him pick something out of the dollar bin. He liked almost everything in there, but he walked away with a scooby doo coloring paper and crayons. I think he chose it because the box sounded cool to make music with. Oh boy, he is just like his Daddy!

After Target we went to church. After church we celebrated with some friends and Michael's family at the Ring Farm!

They have a hay ride, a corn maze, giant slides, and huge tires to play with. Michael was in heaven! He got to run, jump, play, slide, fall, ect as much as he wanted. Michael and his friends all became very silly and happy, playing like there were no cares in the world. It was a very sweet time of celebration.

Emery was pretty cold, but him and Beka really enjoyed Michael having such a great time. All Emery wanted to do was snuggle, so Beka had the best night of anyone :)

We did not get as many photos as we would have liked. It was dark. But the memories we had will carry us though. It was a wonderful birthday. We love Michael and we were excited to celebrate what a good man, dad, and husband he is to Team Oakley!

Happy Birthday Michael!
