Emery had taken a few steps here or there leading up to his birthday. I think we counted 5 in total without hanging onto anything. He can also cruise like a champ while holding onto furniture.
But then, like it was all planned in his mind, on the day of his first birthday, he started walking like a pro! No problems! He was such a walking champ! Now it's time for real shoes!
Emery's Nana and Pappy were very generous and bought Emery's slightly fat feet some shoes that fit him well. After all, his is a full fledged walker now!
We knew that we were going to be excited when Emery started walking, but nothing could have prepared us for the magical joy that we feel when Emery looks up at us on our walks with him, holding our hands. It is bliss.
So congrats little man! You are a big one year old walker!
Watch out world, here he comes!
