Emery got a very special gift from his Grandma Caroline on his birthday. He got a new best friend named Elmo.
Emery has watched sesame street before and enjoyed it. But when his Grandma Caroline bought him an Elmo's world dvd, none of us knew how much he would love it!
Everyday we put the DVD away, and everyday he finds it, walks up to us and gently puts it in our hand, saying 'elmo!' He cannot say it in a normal tone though. It always in in a super high voice.
Then he gets his pillow and sits right in the middle of the room, waiting patiently until we turn it on. It is so precious! He sings! He dances! He does anything Elmo does! He LOVES ELMO!
Sometimes he plays too hard watching Elmo and he wears himself out (which is ok by us). Especially the dancing episode! This boy busts the moves until he can dance no more!
Well Emery's Grandma Caroline got word that Mr. Emery was loving his Elmo dvd. So she surprised him with a package in the mail of ANOTHER ELMO DVD!!!
These photos are blurry because he could not stop dancing! He was so excited!
Grandma also bought him some elmo bath toys!
Emery could hardly contain his excitement!
He just held the DVD...it was so sweet :)
We had to watch it right away!
He watched his best friend Elmo on his new DVD in wonder and amazement.
When I asked him if he loved Elmo, he kissed his new DVD.
What a great gift! Thanks Grandma Caroline!
